Dear Parents and Guardians,

This notice is to inform you about an exciting half-day canoeing field trip on the Jordan River for all sixth-grade students on Tuesday, April 22nd, which is also Earth Day!

Key Details:

• Date: Tuesday, April 22nd (Earth Day)
• Time: Approximately 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM (at the Jordan River)
• Location: Jordan River (launching from Three Creeks Confluence Park)
• Transportation: Students will travel by school bus to Three Creeks Confluence Park, departing from school around 8:20 AM. The return to school after lunch will be via public bus.
• Lunch: Students should bring a sack lunch to be eaten around noon after canoeing.
• Permission Slips: Permission slips are attached and need to be completed and returned to Jake Pasko during science class as soon as possible.
• Parent Chaperones: We require 1-2 parent chaperones per advisory group. If you are able to volunteer, please contact your student's advisor directly.
