Why SLArts?

Salt Lake Arts Academy offers a rigorous and engaging middle school program for 5th - 8th Grade, where in addition to Math, Science and Humanities, every student experiences at least one hour of arts education, every day of the school year.
 
Our community is diverse and close-knit, despite coming from more than 33 zip codes throughout our valley. We are bound by our shared values of the importance of the arts in education, and our commitment to seeing young people thrive through the difficult years of adolescence. At SLArts we build a sense of belonging in each of our students, to protect and support them as they move into their teenage years.

The best way to see what SLArts is all about is to visit us! We host multiple Admissions Information Nights in the Fall and Winter, before our Admissions Lottery in February.  
 
We also hold weekly tours on Thursday mornings beginning in November. To schedule a tour, please call the office at 801-531-1131.

Register Now for Term 4 After School Classes!

Term 4 After School registration is now open, with all classes posted and ready for students to sign up. Plus, families can also enjoy a free, AFTER-After-School public art installation by internationally renowned artist Olafur Eliasson in City Creek at Memory Grove from March 26–April 4.

With a wide range of camps running throughout June, there’s something for every interest: music, fiber arts, biking, theater, film, and dance. From Glass Art to D&D, the possibilities are endless.
